Strong Schools. Responsible Spending
Livingston is home to my family. My children attend our schools, and we pay taxes here alongside our neighbors. We’re all in this together. I believe strong schools and responsible spending go hand in hand. For a potential school facilities referendum, I favor a vote no earlier than November 2027, with transparent information, ongoing two-way communication, and real opportunities for residents to help shape the discussion as plans develop.

Thank you for my Livingston neighbors for their support.
I support incumbent Fang Gong for re-election because she has become part of a Board of Education “team” in Livingston that works very cohesively together. This team has made great strides for our special education community, has had more caring for all students equitably in fact of any Board in my over 30 year residency in Livingston, and Fang’s contributions are very helpful.

Fang has demonstrated exceptional integrity, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout her first term in the Livingston school board. Her contributions have grown tremendously, and I believe her positive impact is only beginning to unfold. We are fortunate to have her continue serving on the Board of Education and representing our community.

I support Fang Gong for reelection to the Board of Education because she listens without condescension and answers questions without making people feel foolish for asking them. It’s a simple act of respect, but one that says a great deal about how she approaches public service.
Representation means having a seat at the table, but leadership means making sure everyone feels safe enough to speak.

During her first term, Fang has attended numerous meetings, trainings and earned board certifications in order to deepen her knowledge and effectiveness as a board member. She spends hours researching issues, reviewing documents, and preparing for board meetings, so that she can make informed decisions on behalf of our students, families, and community. Her preparation was also evident during the recent BOE debate, where she supported her positions with facts and documentation. Fang has demonstrated passion, diligence, thoroughness, and commitment as a board member, and I strongly encourage Livingston voters to reelect her to the Board of Education.

As a Livingston resident and mother of two elementary school students, I am concerned about the future of our school system given the upcoming changes.
However, I take comfort in knowing that I trust Fang’s values, professionalism, leadership and problem-solving abilities. Having her on the board gives me peace of mind that the right decisions will be made for our community. For these reasons, I proudly endorse Fang for the Board of Education.
